Overview:
As a Housekeeping Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a pristine environment for our guests, staff, and vendors. You will lead the housekeeping team, ensuring that all areas of the hotel meet our high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the housekeeping team, facilitating open communication, training, and performance evaluations to maximize operational efficiency.
  • Conduct interviews, onboard new hires, and provide ongoing training and support to staff.
  • Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Assign tasks to team members, taking into account special requests and priorities to ensure smooth operations.
  • Manage inventory by distributing supplies at the start of each shift and monitoring usage to control costs.
  • Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly to enhance overall satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records for lost and found items and respond to related inquiries.
  • Implement emergency protocols to safeguard the hotel, guests, and staff.
  • Adhere to attendance policies and maintain regular availability for shifts.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support the housekeeping department.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in housekeeping management is preferred.
  • Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 100 lbs., with or without accommodation.
  • Capability to navigate the building and assist team members as needed.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt to various audiences.
