Residential Support Specialist

About the Role:
The successful candidate will have a paraprofessional level position with a strong focus on providing daily living assistance, including bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting, and other activities of daily living (ADLs). You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure that each consumer receives personalized care and attention. Your expertise in medication administration, documentation, and communication will be invaluable in maintaining accurate records and reporting incidents as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
* Implement plans of care for consumers, including medication administration and daily living assistance
* Maintain accurate records, including MARs, progress notes, and incident reports
* Provide daily living assistance, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and toileting
* Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care and support
* Work at the group home during scheduled hours, even if the consumer is not present
Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in related field preferred
* Paraprofessional level experience in residential care or healthcare
* Strong knowledge of medication administration and documentation
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
