**Job Summary:**
The Respiratory Therapist Team Leader is responsible for the clinical and technical leadership of the Respiratory Care staff. This role ensures effective daily operation over the area of responsibility, administering respiratory care under a physician's order, including oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, intubation, arterial puncture, and analysis, as well as mechanical ventilation of adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients.
**Key Responsibilities:**
Plan, implement, and evaluate the effectiveness of therapy
Ensure completion of age-specific competencies
Support the mission, values, and management of patient care services
Collaborate with the Respiratory Care staff to ensure effective daily operation
**Requirements:**
Clinical experience in Respiratory Therapy and Emergency/Trauma
Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy
Registered Respiratory Therapist and NC Respiratory Care Practitioner licensure
Availability to work 7pm-7am shifts, every other weekend, and on-call
