Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team in the Emergency Department. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for administering respiratory care to adult and geriatric patients, including oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and mechanical ventilation.
Responsibilities- Administer respiratory care to adult and geriatric patients, including oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and mechanical ventilation.
- Plan, implement, and evaluate the effectiveness of therapy with communication to the physician and healthcare team.
- Understand the needs of the organization and support the mission, vision, and values in the management of patient care.
- 1 year of clinical experience in respiratory therapy and emergency/trauma preferred.
- Associate's degree in respiratory therapy required.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist required, NC Respiratory Care Practitioner required, Basic Life Support required, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support required within 30 days of hire, Pediatric Advanced Life Support required within 30 days of hire, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program required within 30 days of hire.
7pm-7am, with as-needed weekend requirements and call responsibilities.
