Software Development Position at Hospitality Spotlight About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Software Engineer to join our dynamic team at Hospitality Spotlight. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in driving the company's technological growth and innovation. Key Responsibilities: * Own the end-to-end software development process, from architecture design to deployment and optimization. * Design and develop scalable, high-performance software solutions to meet business needs. * Build and manage public APIs, optimize databases, and ensure the efficiency of both front-end and back-end systems. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Customer Success) to integrate feedback and enhance the platform. * Lead and enforce coding standards, testing practices, and DevOps processes. * Manage cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines to ensure system reliability and scalability. * Continuously improve system security and monitoring to safeguard data and ensure high availability. * Provide technical leadership and mentorship, helping to establish best practices across the engineering team. Requirements: * 7+ years of experience in full-stack software development, preferably within the B2B SaaS space. * Proven experience building scalable, high-performance systems. * Strong proficiency in JavaScript, React,.NET, SQL/NoSQL databases, and API development. * Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure, and DevOps practices (CI/CD, monitoring, etc.). * Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, startup environment. * Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams. * Familiarity with AI-powered solutions is a bonus. * Previous experience in a startup or high-growth environment is preferred.
