We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer to join our EC2 Nitro Flex Instance team at Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying large-scale software running across AWS data centers.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop large-scale software systems that meet the needs of our customers.
- Collaborate closely with EC2 teams to help curate the team's roadmap and drive system architecture.
- Spearhead best practices that enable a quality product and help coach and develop junior engineers.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of software systems.
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
