**Job Summary**
McLaren Macomb is seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic MRI exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Verify patient identity and review patient's medical record for appropriateness of exam.
- Interview patient to obtain, verify or update medical history and assess risk factors.
- Explain to the patient what to expect during an MRI, addressing their concerns to foster a sense of comfort and confidence.
- Set up equipment and acquire appropriate images per script/protocol.
- Start IV's.
- Be knowledgeable of MRI safety and implant safety.
**Requirements:**
- Must be ARRT certified, NMTCB certified or ARMRIT certified.
- Must have experience in MRI.
- Must be certified in MRI.
- Current BLS certification.
**About the Role:**
