**Job Summary**

McLaren Macomb is seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic MRI exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Verify patient identity and review patient's medical record for appropriateness of exam.
  • Interview patient to obtain, verify or update medical history and assess risk factors.
  • Explain to the patient what to expect during an MRI, addressing their concerns to foster a sense of comfort and confidence.
  • Set up equipment and acquire appropriate images per script/protocol.
  • Start IV's.
  • Be knowledgeable of MRI safety and implant safety.

**Requirements:**

  • Must be ARRT certified, NMTCB certified or ARMRIT certified.
  • Must have experience in MRI.
  • Must be certified in MRI.
  • Current BLS certification.
