Job Summary
As a Lead Medical Imaging Technologist at St. David's South Austin Medical Center, you will oversee the daily operation of the CT Department, ensuring efficient utilization of resources and maintaining quality control activities and radiation safety measures.
Key Responsibilities
- Train and mentor staff in imaging techniques and ensure compliance with hospital policies
- Manage supply inventory and assist with staffing and scheduling
- Perform CT procedures in accordance with standards and hospital policies
Requirements
- Graduate of an AMA-approved program in Radiologic Technology with ARRT-CT certification
- Two years of experience in performing Computed Tomography procedures preferred
- Current Texas Medical Board certification and Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
