As a Multimodality Imaging Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

About the RoleJob Summary

The Multimodality Imaging Specialist, under the supervision of a Radiologist, performs imaging procedures in two or more disciplines, with a focus on advanced modalities such as CT, MR, Nuclear Medicine, or Interventional Radiology. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key ResponsibilitiesEssential Functions
  • Perform high-quality multimodality procedures according to exam protocol in a timely manner.
  • Maintain production and quality of imaging procedures by following established standards and procedures.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of radiation dose reference levels, radiation dose monitoring, and actions to be taken if the estimated dose exceeds set dose reference levels.
  • Utilize AIDET when communicating with patients to ensure correct exam is performed on the correct patient and establish rapport with patients and others.
  • Protect patients and employees by adhering to safety requirements, infection-control, drug, and radiation policies, protocols, and techniques.
RequirementsQualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
  • Less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire or transfer.
  • Medical Radiologic Tech (MRT) licensure by the State of Texas Medical Board as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT), unless the role is MRI and Ultrasound.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This salary range is based on industry standards and is subject to change.
