Responsibilities
- Staffing
- Interview and hire potential employees, train new staff, and evaluate staff annually.
- Hold routine staff meetings, educate staff on office and corporate policies, and maintain office bulletin boards.
- Report payroll to HR, approve time off requests, and monitor overtime and staffing expenses.
- Physician Expectations
- Attend weekly physician meetings, maintain agendas and minutes, and communicate office and staff issues.
- Approve and maintain physician vacation requests, determine call and office coverage, and communicate with answering services.
- Submit and categorize physician business expenses, obtain annual reporting, and verify state license requirements.
- Building and Maintenance Responsibilities
- Coordinate internal and external building maintenance, including equipment, furnishings, and landscaping.
- Maintain security and fire systems, respond to alarm calls, and perform routine inspections.
- General Duties
- Work closely with the nursing supervisor, provide support, and understand the clinical position's impact on the financial aspect of the practice.
- Perform cost analysis and workflow analysis, improve office workflows, and maintain a vision for the future of healthcare and the practice.
- Evaluate and approve supplies and equipment purchases, maintain office reports, and act on information obtained.
Requirements
We are seeking a candidate with a Bachelor's degree in a related field and a minimum of five years of experience in managing and supervising multiple staff members and job positions in a diverse hierarchy. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional interpersonal communication skills, a high level of confidentiality, and a strong sense of team commitment.

Location

Supervision
This position reports to the Director of Operations and supervises all departmental staff as assigned.
Physical Demands
This position requires sitting for long periods, working in an office environment, and occasional bending and stretching. The ideal candidate will be able to work under stress and use a telephone effectively.
Working Conditions
This position works in an office environment with extensive telephone contact with insurance companies, medical facilities, patients, and internal staff.
