Role: Senior Project Engineer

Location: Nashville, Tennessee

Salary Range: $75,000 - $110,000 / annually*

Key Responsibilities:

In collaboration with the Project Manager, contribute to the strategic planning, organization, control, integration, and successful execution of engineering initiatives. Responsibilities may encompass the following:
  • Developing work scopes and structuring cost estimates.
  • Creating General Contractor shop drawings under the guidance of the Superintendent for builder utilization.
  • Engaging in job layout activities and confirming elevations and dimensions.
  • Assessing all subcontractor and vendor shop drawings, product data, samples, manuals, etc., ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Overseeing testing and inspection documentation, as well as safety inspection and incident reports.
  • Identifying and formalizing project changes and preparing estimates for change order work as necessary.
  • Resolving discrepancies, incomplete, or unclear design information, and collaborating with designers, engineers, and clients to address constructability challenges.
  • Documenting solutions through Requests for Information (RFI).
  • Updating billing and tracking systems while forecasting project budgets.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related discipline, along with a minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in the field or a similar role.

Special Skills Required:

The position necessitates at least 1 year of experience with:
  • Autodesk software suites including Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
  • Authoring and collaboration tools tailored for contractors such as Revit, Tekla, AutoCAD MEP, or Inventor.
  • Implementation and support of Autodesk BIM 360 products: Glue, Field, and Docs.
  • Utilizing and supporting Autodesk Navisworks Manage.
