The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Cocktail Server to join our team at Finger Lakes Gaming in Farmington, New York. As a Cocktail Server, you will utilize your knowledge of wines, beers, and cocktails to provide exceptional service to our guests.

Please note that this is a tipped position, and the hourly minimum pay listed does not include any potential tipped earnings.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $11.21, as well as a comprehensive benefits package that includes:

Responsibilities
  • Greet guests, communicate drink specials, answer questions about available beverages, and take beverage orders
  • Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly, request identification, adhere to all unit and company alcohol service policies and procedures
  • Enter drink orders into the point-of-sale system; pick up drink orders and deliver to guests
  • Observe and follow up with guests, ready to provide additional service
  • Prepare and deliver the guest checks; accept and process payment or direct guests to the cashier
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be able to obtain a New York Gaming License
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Possess basic knowledge of standard drink recipes and alcohol brand names
  • Basic math skills
Physical Requirements
  • Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching and repetitive motions
  • Ability to lift, balance and carry trays, weighing up to 35 pounds
