Job Title: Commercial Roofing Project Manager

The Commercial Roofing Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial and logistical aspects of commercial roofing projects. This includes project management, scheduling, and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement project plans to ensure successful project delivery
  • Collaborate with estimators to review project information, including contracts, budgets, and job requirements
  • Set up and manage project documentation, including submittal packages and work orders
  • Monitor and track project costs to ensure compliance with budget
  • Schedule and conduct meetings with project stakeholders to ensure effective communication
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and regulatory requirements
  • Work closely with Superintendents and Foremen to ensure project completion on time and on budget
  • Issue change orders and update billing as required
  • Provide regular project updates to department heads and stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Experience working in commercial roofing environment
  • Extensive knowledge of commercial roofing systems, materials, and installation methods
  • Two or more years of experience directing large-scale commercial roofing projects
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Work Environment:

The Commercial Roofing Project Manager will work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to potentially hazardous materials and situations. The ability to work safely and follow safety protocols is essential.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Ability to climb ladders and work at heights
  • Ability to work in a loud and noisy environment
