Overview

Columbus Springs East, a nationally recognized healthcare organization, is seeking a passionate and patient-centric Assessment Manager to join our team. Our behavioral health services specialize in crisis stabilization, inpatient care, and outpatient treatment for acute mental health and substance use treatment.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure comprehensive assessments and quality therapeutic care for patients with substance abuse, dual diagnosis, or psychiatric disorders.
  • Assist the Assessment Director with reports and various duties.
  • Oversee the assessment of walk-in and phone callers, completing initial psychiatric assessments and presenting treatment options.
  • Develop and implement schedules for the assessment and referral office, assessing patient needs and referring them to appropriate resources.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists to interpret treatment and present it to patients and families, reducing fear and other attitudes obstructing acceptance of care.
  • Triaging patients to other treatment sources when necessary.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in social work or counseling and LSW required, with RN licensure as an alternative.
  • Current clinical licensure and valid driver's license.
  • CPR and CPI Certification within 30 days of employment.
  • Previous management experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility, with direct experience working in intake for chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, and geriatric patients.
