Job Title: Clinical Informatics Analyst

At The Emmes Company, LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Informatics Analyst to join our team. As a Clinical Informatics Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely delivery and accurate data abstraction of clinical trials.

Responsibilities:
  • Respond to inquiries and resolve issues submitted to our issue/ticketing system, utilizing clear and effective communication.
  • Manage and coordinate tickets from inception to completion, often requiring input and feedback from several teams.
  • Provide end-user application training for new and existing cancer center community.
  • Review clinical trial-related documents to validate trial submissions, abstract relevant administrative data, and perform quality control checks following standard guidelines/SOPs.
  • Register trials and amendments in CTRP on behalf of the user community.
  • Review and acknowledge trial updates submitted by the user community.
  • Assist in improving Standard Operating Procedures and User Guides.
  • Troubleshoot and report unexpected problems that may arise during data abstraction of clinical trials.
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing to support application releases.
  • Participate in data clean-up related activities.
Qualifications:
  • Possession of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in an information technology, clinical, biological/biomedical science, or healthcare-related field is strongly preferred.
  • Two years of work experience in Application Support.
  • Experience with clinical trials domain is highly desired.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills with demonstrated expertise in grammar, syntax, and format.
  • Able to quickly learn and understand unique and complex systems and workflows.
  • Able to research and produce results in a fast-paced environment, both independently and within a team effectively and efficiently.
  • Proactive, positive attitude, Team Player.
  • Willing to perform tasks that may fall outside of the normal daily responsibilities.
  • Experience with software ticketing tools, like ServiceNow, is desired.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft software applications is desired.
