We are seeking a highly skilled Plant Finance Analyst to join our team at Shearer's Foods. This role offers a unique opportunity to be at the heart of financial decision-making and to contribute to the success of our operations.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze manufacturing costs, including raw materials, labor, and overhead, to identify areas for improvement.
- Provide insightful cost direction and support to various departments, including plant management, quality, purchasing, planning, and inventory control.
- Monitor capital spending versus budget and review and analyze results to support capital processes.
- Assist in cost savings studies to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Sr. Supply Chain Finance Manager in daily, weekly, and monthly financial closing processes.
- Produce monthly financial reports for senior management and corporate stakeholders.
- Conduct periodic audits and assist with year-end cycle counts to ensure compliance with financial policies.
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
- 1-3 years of experience in finance, preferably within a manufacturing plant.
- A passion for learning and professional development.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to organize, prioritize, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- A collaborative spirit and the ability to work well in a team.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Advanced Excel capabilities and proficiency in MS Word and PowerPoint.
