Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced maintenance professional to perform routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and troubleshooting in our industrial laundry facility. The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical maintenance, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain all plant equipment, including high-volume industrial washers and dryers.
  • Repair and replace equipment as necessary, performing basic plumbing, mechanical, and electrical work.
  • Troubleshoot and solve technical issues using technical manuals and schematics.
  • Order necessary parts, tools, and equipment in a timely manner, following company procurement policy.
  • Conduct daily removal and processing of waste solids generated from the treatment process.
  • Perform equipment troubleshooting, make necessary repairs, and complete preventative maintenance and housekeeping practices for all related wastewater hardware.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, observing best practices in all production activities.
  • Use safety precautions, follow electrical lock-out tag-out procedures for equipment, and adhere to all safe work practices and policies for all safety, boiler, and wastewater treatment procedures.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated mechanical and basic electrical aptitude.
  • Familiarity with standard maintenance procedures, preventative maintenance schedules, and proper safety techniques.
  • Basic knowledge of industrial laundry equipment and required codes.
  • Ability to comprehend and perform all required training, written, and verbal instructions.
  • Good verbal and/or written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to meet attendance schedule.
Working Environment:

The work environment is a high-volume production warehouse setting, with regular exposure to outside weather conditions, extreme heat and cold conditions, as well as dust and noise.

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

The successful candidate will be required to routinely move, lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing up to 25 lbs, and occasionally up to 50 lbs.

The position requires bending, reaching, pulling, pushing, twisting, and lifting, as well as the use of hands for grasping and other manipulations.

The successful candidate will be required to stand and walk for long periods of time and work from elevated heights using ladders, mezzanines, and aerial lifts.

Experience and Education:

3-5 years' maintenance experience.

High school diploma or equivalent required.

License Requirements/Certifications:

Class 2B Boiler License.
