Job Title: Senior Piping Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Piping Design Engineer to join our team at UPS Industrial Services. This is a field position that requires the ability to work collaboratively with site planners and management to deliver high-quality documentation that adheres to industry standards.

About the Role:

This role will involve updating and modifying piping layouts and 3D models for piping systems, as well as developing drawing deliverable packages that meet project schedules and budgets. The successful candidate will have extensive experience working in the field at a refining facility and will be proficient in AutoCad/CADWorx.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Update and modify piping layouts and 3D models for piping systems
  • Develop drawing deliverable packages that meet project schedules and budgets
  • Gather required field information to develop field sketches
  • Assist design team in developing scopes of work for modifications to existing systems
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience as a piping designer with extensive time working in the field at a plant
  • Associate's degree in Drafting or Design preferred, but not required
  • Proficiency in AutoCad and CADWorx
  • Experience working with laser scan data (point cloud)
  • Strong drafting ability and project organizational skills
  • Attention to detail is a must to ensure high-quality deliverables
Salary:

The estimated salary for this role is between $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
