Position Summary:
The Night Porter plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our client's premises. This position involves supporting Building Management with various tasks and responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness in all public and operational areas within the facility.
- Oversee the plaza and parking garage as directed.
- Ensure elevator interiors are kept tidy and presentable.
- Preserve the lobby and initial impression areas.
- Maintain the exterior appearance of the building.
- Ensure restrooms are clean and well-stocked.
- Monitor and maintain the grounds surrounding the building.
- Conduct regular inspections of stairwells, including dust mopping and damp mopping as needed.
- Assist with snow removal during winter months.
- Respond to special requests from management throughout the shift.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- A minimum of one year of experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong verbal communication skills are essential.
- Willingness to work assigned hours is necessary.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
- Ability to engage in face-to-face discussions with individuals at all levels.
- Comfortable working in close proximity to others.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Physical stamina for standing, walking, sitting, and bending.
