The Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston is dedicated to supporting urban youth through the YouthConnect initiative, a collaboration with local law enforcement. This program is tailored to meet the specific challenges faced by young individuals referred by police officers. Our team of social workers is committed to enhancing the overall behavior and academic performance of these youths within their families and communities. Utilizing a comprehensive four-tier service model, our social workers deliver targeted interventions and treatment strategies, including referrals to community organizations, clinical case management, individual and family counseling, and parental support.
The Clinical Program Supervisor plays a vital role in partnership with the Clinical Director to guarantee the delivery of exceptional clinical services throughout the program. This position involves providing clinical oversight and mentorship to social workers and Clinical Supervisors, while also engaging in essential programmatic and administrative responsibilities as a member of the senior management team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in senior management discussions.
- Co-facilitate group supervision sessions as needed.
- Assist in conducting clinical training sessions for staff to promote ongoing professional development.
- Support the enhancement of clinical skills among staff members.
- Provide weekly individual supervision to team members.
- Oversee initial home visits and assessments conducted by supervisees.
- Evaluate new client referrals alongside supervisees.
- Monitor case progress and review treatment plans with supervisees.
- Offer immediate consultation and support during client emergencies.
- Facilitate advocacy efforts with supervisors and managers of related services.
- Represent the program in city-wide meetings focused on juvenile justice initiatives.
- Ensure accurate documentation of cases through a case management system.
- Analyze program outcome data to inform recommendations for program improvements.
- Provide coverage for social workers as necessary.
- Collaborate with other program supervisors to address clinical and operational matters.
- Assist in the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new staff members.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Executive Director and Clinical Director.
- Ensure comprehensive clinical care coordination in collaboration with the Clinical Director and Clinical Supervisors.

Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW).
- Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) certification.
- A minimum of 4 years of supervisory experience in a clinical setting, demonstrating the ability to provide constructive feedback and leadership.
- Over 7 years of experience working with urban youth and their families.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team while also being self-motivated.
- Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills.
- A sense of humor and adaptability are essential.
- Experience working with diverse cultures and socio-economic backgrounds.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation for community outreach activities.
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM
Compensation: Salary commensurate with experience and internal equity.
