We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Lincoln Property Company. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for performing technical and mechanical functions at our properties in the Charlotte area.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and operational procedures to ensure maximum efficiency and reliability of mechanical systems.
- Conduct daily local travel between properties to perform maintenance tasks and respond to emergencies.
- Troubleshoot and repair facility systems, including HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical systems.
- Assist with the installation and alteration of building equipment systems.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and implement recommendations to improve maintenance operations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, including EPA, OSHA, and ASHRAE guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including mechanical rooms and company vehicles.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Technical training or experience in one or more of the following areas: HVAC, electrical, mechanical, process controls, or plumbing.
- At least three years of experience in commercial building maintenance.
- Familiarity with fire/life safety equipment and procedures.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to interact with tenants, vendors, and contractors.
- Familiarity with blueprints and code requirements.
- Universal CFC Certification a plus.
The successful candidate will be able to lift at least 50 pounds, work from heights, and verify colors. Climbing ladders frequently is also a requirement of this role.
This is a non-hybrid, non-remote role that requires regular presence at assigned portfolio properties throughout the week.
