At South Central Regional Medical Center, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing quality care to our patients, working closely with our nursing team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide patient care by collecting, monitoring, and reporting information and responding to basic needs
- Assist with the admission process by collecting patient and family information
- Promote patient engagement by considering specific needs, values, and preferences
- Assist with discharge teaching about diagnosis, medications, and self-care skills to prevent hospital readmissions
- Accurately and completely document patient information and nursing care in the patient's medical record
- Promote continuity of care by reporting activities, incidents, and changing patient needs to next caregiver
- Current LPN license by the Mississippi Board of Nursing
- Ability to read, write, understand written and verbal communication
