We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital, a 330-bed facility in Baltimore, MD.

About the Role:

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will work under the supervision of the Registered Nurse/Director of Nursing to develop and implement individualized nursing care plans for our residents. You will be responsible for attending to the daily operations of the unit, providing basic physical assessment skills, and assuming leadership roles as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to residents, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Assume leadership roles as needed, including charge nurse responsibilities.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (diploma).
  • License for Practical Nursing and AHA BLS CPR Certification.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in electronic medical records.
