Fleet Auto Maintenance Technician II Job Description

Fleet Services by Cox Automotive is seeking a skilled Fleet Auto Maintenance Technician II to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on a variety of fleet vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough inspections of fleet vehicles to identify potential issues and recommend repairs.
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues, including electrical and hydraulic systems.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to complete repairs and meet productivity goals.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 3+ years of experience in a related field preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and safe driving record required.
  • Knowledge of motor vehicle engines, parts, and systems, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
  • Ability to lift, bend, climb, stand, and walk for long periods of time; ability to perform moderately heavy laboring work.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • OEM training and certifications preferred.
  • 4+ ASE certifications within 18 months of employment.
  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience.
  • Transmission and diesel experience.
