NESCO Inc is seeking talented individuals to fill the role of Controls Engineer. This position is crucial for providing specialized technical support within the department, focusing on both new and existing product innovations as well as production processes.
The primary responsibilities include:
- Developing and managing a comprehensive engineering schedule for various projects.
- Leading and coordinating efforts to meet all objectives outlined in the master schedule.
- Writing detailed specifications for equipment and tooling, overseeing the design, construction, installation, and trial phases of new systems.
In addition, the role requires the creation of all necessary documentation for capital investments and obtaining necessary approvals from senior management.
Key responsibilities also involve:
- Establishing manufacturing processes that align with key performance indicators (KPIs) related to cost, efficiency, safety, and quality.
- Documenting processes thoroughly, including specifications, risk analyses, and work instructions.
- Leading Kaizen initiatives to enhance production processes.
Successful candidates will demonstrate:
- Expertise in programming and troubleshooting PLCs, HMIs, and robotics.
- Ability to design and implement complex control circuits.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Qualifications include:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CAD software.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to perform advanced mathematical calculations.
This position does not include supervisory responsibilities, but it requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and adherence to safety standards.
