About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Cedar Ridge Behavioral Hospital. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our mental health services.

Responsibilities
  • Provide physical assessments of residents and implement treatment plans under the supervision of the Chief Nursing Officer.
  • Evaluate patient response to treatment and provide complete documentation.
  • Administer medications as prescribed and provide health education to residents and families.
  • Supervise the daily duties of Mental Health Techs and LPN staff, ensuring a safe environment for all residents.
  • Perform duties in accordance with the ANA Standards of Practice for Psychiatric Mental Health Care and facility policies.

Qualifications
  • Valid Oklahoma RN license required.
  • CPR certification preferred.
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program required.
  • BSN or Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of one year psychiatric experience in mental health nursing preferred.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Successfully complete a drug test.
  • Successfully pass a national background check.
  • Physical agility to manage patients.
  • Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong leadership skills.
