The U.S. Consumer Services and Digital Technology Team consolidates essential strategic technology capabilities in digital experience engineering (Mobile and Web), AI/ML, marketing technology, enterprise communications, travel and lifestyle, and automation, all grounded in our data technology model that emphasizes data governance. This team employs an innovative approach with development responsibilities for customer-facing capabilities that enhance and broaden digital engagement, as well as core technical capabilities that span business lines and customer segments.

The Membership Services Technology organization, part of the USCDT team, delivers the technologies necessary to power the experiences enjoyed by our card members. We are responsible for designing, constructing, and integrating the appropriate technical, architectural, and business solutions for all online/web products across the enterprise for Membership Services products within American Express.

This role will be within Resy, a division under the Membership Services Technology organization. Resy is the American Express global dining platform, dedicated to empowering the world’s finest restaurants by leveraging technology to envision the future of hospitality. We serve 6,000 restaurants worldwide.

The Technology Operations Manager will report directly to the CTO of Resy Technology within Membership Services Technology and will oversee a wide array of activities, including strategic, analytical, and communication initiatives to ensure the team's objectives are achieved. They will be a vital member of the Leadership Team, collaborating closely with all team members. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional thought leadership, strategic insight, communication, and organizational skills, with a proven track record of excellence in both independent and high-performing team environments.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Minimum Qualifications:

The candidate must be organized, culturally aware, and a proficient communicator capable of effectively multitasking and prioritizing as needs evolve. Additional qualifications include:

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Technology.

• Proven ability to navigate effectively within American Express, with a strong understanding of the company’s operations, processes, and business lines.

• Highly organized and self-driven.

• Demonstrated project management, organizational, and planning skills in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills with a strong personal presence.

• Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel.

• Active listening, summarization skills, and lateral thinking to identify and respond to emerging opportunities.

• Experience in the organization of Technology (including TWTE).

• Prior experience in capacity planning and financial reporting.

• A university degree is preferred or a combination of education and experience.

• Demonstrated ability to remain composed under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.

• Capable of handling confidential information without exception.

Compensation:

Salary Range: $80,000.00 to $155,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
