Product Management Role

Moderna is seeking an experienced Product Management Leader to join our team. As a Product Management Leader, you will be responsible for leading the development of our digital products and services, working closely with cross-functional teams to define and deliver on our product roadmaps.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with engineering, UX, and program management teams to develop and launch new products and features.
  • Define and drive product strategy and roadmap.
  • Develop product solutions to execute on the market potential and benefits possible from applying Moderna's technologies in the enterprise market.
  • Convert solution ideas into action through stories, mockups, and prototypes.
  • Launch new products and features, test their performance, and iterate quickly.
  • Connect the technical and business worlds.
  • Break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.
  • Deeply understand the pharma manufacturing operations and supply chain ecosystem and user requirements.
  • Develop solutions to problems by collaborating as needed across regions, product areas, and functions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, software engineering, industrial engineering, or a field tied to the product sector OR 5 years of equivalent professional experience in lieu of a degree.
  • A minimum of 9 years of relevant job experience in digital product management.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineering, UX, Program management.
  • Experience working in an Agile SDLC with experience leading the entire product discovery effort, creating both functional and technical user stories.
  • Experience managing the development of regulated digital products (GCP, GXP, ISO 13485, IEC).
  • Ability to quickly learn and take the lead on managing highly sophisticated technical products and systems including ML based algorithms.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience building and launching technology products and platforms at scale.
  • Experience building products from concept to production.
  • Strong domain knowledge in one of the following areas: AI and Analytics, Digital Health, manufacturing operations, supply chain, ideally but not necessarily within pharma and healthcare.
  • Experience working in life sciences, pharma/biotech.
  • Experience working in a matrixed organization.
