The Senior Buyer for E-Commerce will spearhead the purchasing strategy across various categories for the company's online platform. This role is pivotal in driving growth through effective management of buying and inventory across all product lines.

Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and implement seasonal purchasing strategies, open-to-buy plans, and promotional initiatives across all categories.
- Collaborate closely with the Planning team to ensure successful inventory management.
- Supervise bulk management processes for the direct-to-consumer segment.
- Conduct analyses and prepare sales reports to facilitate weekly, monthly, quarterly, and seasonal reviews, identifying opportunities within the product assortment.
- Partner with the Planning team to conduct regular review meetings with senior leadership to support recommendations for seasonal product investments.
- Communicate the product requirements of the online business to product management consistently.
- Work cross-functionally to strategize and execute seasonal marketing initiatives based on key brand narratives, seasonality, forecasts, sales trends, and available inventory.
- Articulate category and purchasing strategies to cross-functional teams and category partners.
- Oversee web-exclusive purchasing initiatives.
- Establish best practices and develop processes for managing planning and inventory suited for a new and expanding business.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on experience and analysis to enhance business performance.
- Conduct relevant trend and competitive research, presenting findings to the team.
- Manage a team of 1-2 buyers.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Retail Merchandising, or equivalent experience.
- 7-10 years of experience in e-commerce purchasing.
- Strong skills in managing a direct-to-consumer product pipeline from concept to markdown.
- Proven managerial and leadership capabilities, particularly in talent development.
- Proficient in identifying challenges and devising solutions for process enhancement.
- Ability to excel in an entrepreneurial setting.
- Self-driven, adaptable, and capable of managing high workloads independently.

Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
- High proficiency in retail mathematics.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail, highly organized, and comfortable with digital analytics.
- Flexible and adaptable, able to quickly shift priorities and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
