Job Title: Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to join our team at Arena Technical Resources, LLC. As a key member of our Systems Engineering team, you will play a critical role in the development and implementation of our NextGen space resiliency and flight safety program.

Responsibilities:
  • Requirements Management: Rationalize, analyze, and document system requirements to ensure alignment with project objectives and capabilities.
  • Rationalization and Analysis of Solutions Architecture: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement system architecture that meets project requirements.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical expertise and support on architecture designs, ensuring alignment with key objectives and capabilities.
  • Synthesize Critical Information: Gather and synthesize critical information across multiple domains, applications, and technologies to inform system design and development.
  • Interface and Communications: Interface and communicate with a broad range of stakeholders, including customers, project teams, and technical teams.
Requirements:
  • JIRA Proficiency: Experience with JIRA and Confluence.
  • Program and Project Management Expertise: Strong understanding of program and project management principles and practices.
  • Solutions Architecture and Requirements Management Expertise: Proven experience in solutions architecture and requirements management.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in various advanced technologies, cloud computing, and software architecture.
  • Experience with Agile Development Environments: Experience working in agile development environments.
  • TS/SCI Clearance with CI Polygraph: Active TS/SCI clearance with a CI polygraph.
  • Ability to Work On-Site: Ability to work on-site in Chantilly, VA, Herndon, VA, or Englewood, CO.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's or Graduate Degree in Relevant STEM Discipline: Bachelor's or graduate degree in a relevant STEM discipline.
  • Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) Experience: Experience with leading tools such as Cameo.
  • AWSCloud Computing Skills: Experience with AWS cloud computing.
  • DevOps and DevSecOps: Experience with DevOps and DevSecOps practices.
  • Software Development Experience: Experience with software development in JAVA, Python, and scripting.
  • Orchestration Software/Tools: Experience with orchestration software/tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, or OpenShift.
  • Familiarity with NIFI, Apache, Kafka: Familiarity with NIFI, Apache, and Kafka.
  • Experience with Big Data Technologies: Experience with big data technologies such as Spark, MongoDB, and Hadoop.
  • Data Pipelines, Processing, and Storage: Experience with data pipelines, processing, and storage.
