Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Hillsborough County. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of exceptional healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional nursing care to patients, including administering medications, performing diagnostic tests, and developing individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Supervise and train nursing staff, including Licensed Practical Nurses and Nursing Assistants.
  • Conduct health assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide education to patients and families.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Valid State of Florida Registered Nurse license.
  • Knowledge of nursing theory and practices, as well as medications, drugs, and narcotics.
  • Ability to analyze facts and conditions, apply sound nursing principles, and make decisions concerning patient care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities.
