Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs
  • Initiate appropriate nursing interventions to promote patient recovery and independence
  • Provide care tailored to the individual needs of patients, taking into account their condition and age
  • Document medical necessity and patient progress in the medical record in a timely and accurate manner
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
  • Conduct quality improvement assessments to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing, or Nursing Diploma program
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse
  • CPR/BCLS certification; ACLS preferred
  • CRRN certification preferred
  • Minimum six months of Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
