Aludyne is seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Operator to join our team in the production of high-quality aluminum knuckles. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for operating production machines in a safe and efficient manner, performing quality checks, and maintaining a clean work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Operate Production Machines: Safely and efficiently operate CNC lathes and other production equipment to meet production and quality requirements.
- Perform Quality Checks: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure products meet specifications and standards.
- Maintain a Clean Work Environment: Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and quality standards.
- Perform Inventory Scanning and Tracking: Perform inventory scanning and tracking activities related to the production work cell.
- Complete Daily Reports: Fill out daily production reports to monitor and improve production processes.
- Familiarity with Quality Control Gauges: Familiarity with quality control gauges, understanding of the use of handheld gauges, and ability to use basic gauging and measuring equipment.
- Understanding of Machine Setup Sheets: Understanding of machine setup sheets and process control plans.
- Inspecting Parts: Identify defects and inspect parts using process control plans.
- Operating Secondary Equipment: Ability to start and operate all secondary equipment from power off to cycle start.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand, bend, and stoop for long periods of time, and lift, push, and pull heavy objects up to 55 pounds regularly.
