Key Responsibilities- Perform ultrasound procedures in accordance with established protocols for patients of all ages.
- Maintain expert technical and patient-care skills to provide quality diagnostic results.
- Be knowledgeable and competent in cleaning and high-level disinfection of ultrasound probes and other equipment.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Completion of an AMA-approved Ultrasound School training program or an armed services program that qualifies for approval.
- Annual competency in cleaning and high-level disinfection of ultrasound probes.
- Prefer 1 year of recent hospital ultrasound experience.
- Skills commensurate with formal training requirements.
