Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team at Intermountain Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of perinatal ultrasound procedures to evaluate internal organs and vessels for the diagnosis of disease in utero.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare exam rooms and obtain informed consent from patients
  • Review patient history and determine proper selection of protocols
  • Explain examination methods and position patients
  • Assess patient status and needs, complete diagnostic techniques/tests, and perform necessary interventions
  • Review and evaluate completed tests for quality, completeness, and type of test ordered
  • Coordinate preparation of images/exams and needed documentation for physician partners
  • Document and communicate patient-related information thoroughly and accurately
Requirements
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) certification in Sonography (S) or ARDMS registry
  • Health Care Provider Life Support certification
  • One year of ultrasound experience preferred
  • Fetal Echo Certification preferred
