Zaxby's is seeking a Restaurant Operations Manager.

As a prominent fast-casual dining establishment, we are renowned for our exceptional hand-breaded chicken and commitment to delivering outstanding service. We are in search of candidates with a solid background in restaurant management, whether as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager.

In this role, you will report directly to the Operations Manager and oversee the daily operations of your restaurant, ensuring that both our staff and products meet the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance sales by guaranteeing exceptional product quality and service.
  • Assess training levels and provide necessary training to Team Members and Shift Managers.
  • Manage inventory effectively.
  • Implement daily operational systems to maintain a clean and organized restaurant, delivering top-quality food and service.
  • Adhere to performance and profit expectations set by corporate.
  • Supervise and inspire Team Members and Shift Managers to achieve their best performance.
  • Maintain knowledge of all equipment and ensure preventive maintenance is conducted.
  • Uphold high service standards throughout operational hours by leading by example.
  • Recruit and hire hourly staff in alignment with our cultural principles.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, marketing, and the Director of Operations.
  • Assist the Marketing Director in executing marketing strategies.
  • Provide leadership by fostering enthusiasm, positivity, and commitment to company goals.
  • Champion our culture by engaging with staff and the community to create memorable experiences for every customer.
  • Maintain flexibility to exceed the expectations outlined in this position description.
Qualifications:
  • 2-3 years of experience in Restaurant Management.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) operations.
  • Food Handlers Certification.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong time management abilities.
  • Proficient in understanding Profit and Loss (P&L) and inventory statements.
  • Availability to work nights and weekends.
  • Adaptability in a dynamic environment.
  • Team-oriented leadership skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong decision-making capabilities.
  • High school diploma (required); college or technical education (optional).
  • Background check required.

Experience Requirements:
  • 2-3 years in Restaurant Management (required).

Licenses:
  • Driver's License (required).
  • ServSafe certification (required).
