  • The selected candidate will have the flexibility to work from either the Cleveland Corporate Office or the Minneapolis offices, with the option for semi-remote work. A commitment to being present in the office for three days a week and working remotely for two days is required.
  • Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (local time), including a 30-minute lunch break.
  • The individual will join the Corporate Regulatory Affairs Group, contributing to essential regulatory functions.
  • A college degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline is mandatory. While practical experience may be limited, we believe that a capable graduate can acquire the necessary company-specific skills.
  • The role involves routine tasks that are primarily clerical but necessitate a scientific background to analyze and interpret data effectively.

The candidate will be responsible for reviewing both internal and external products and raw materials to assess potential hazards, assign raw material codes, and ensure regulatory compliance in this entry-level scientific position that does not require laboratory work. We seek a collaborative team member who is self-driven, capable of maintaining high standards while managing repetitive tasks, and adept at juggling multiple projects.


Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a team providing support across all business units.
- Implement GHS and other relevant regulations to evaluate product hazards.
- Utilize external vendor Safety Data Sheets (SDS) to gather necessary regulatory information.
- Employ in-house computer systems to input all regulatory and other data required for raw materials.
- Assist with additional regulatory compliance projects as needed.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or a related scientific field.
- Familiarity with regulatory programs is advantageous.
- A working knowledge of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) is preferred.
- Experience with chemical databases is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Capability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks involving extensive data.
