**Job Summary**

We are looking for a seasoned accounting professional to oversee financial statements preparation and analysis, supervise accounting processes and procedures, and manage and reconcile general ledger accounts. The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to lead client meetings.

**Key Responsibilities**

• **Financial Statement Preparation and Analysis**: Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
• **Accounting Process Supervision**: Supervise and implement accounting processes and procedures, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
• **General Ledger Management**: Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• **Journal Entry Review and Approval**: Review and approve journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
• **Compliance and Regulatory**: Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• **Budget Preparation and Financial Forecasting**: Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting, providing insights and recommendations to support business decision-making.
• **Tax Package Preparation**: Prepare tax packages, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax regulations.
• **Junior Staff Guidance and Support**: Provide guidance and support to junior staff, ensuring their development and growth within the team.
• **Client Meeting Leadership**: Lead client meetings, presenting financial information and insights to support business decision-making.
• **Financial Controls Development and Implementation**: Develop and implement financial controls, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• **Financial Data Analysis and Reporting**: Analyze financial data and prepare reports for senior management, providing insights and recommendations to support business decision-making.
• **Process Improvement Identification and Implementation**: Identify areas for process improvements and implement solutions, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
• **Interdepartmental Collaboration**: Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency, providing insights and recommendations to support business decision-making.
• **Government Agency Communication**: Communicate effectively with government agencies relating to client tax notifications received.
• **Financial Statement and General Ledger Review and Correction**: Review and correct financial statements and general ledgers, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

**Qualifications**

• **AgilLink Experience**: Experience with AgilLink, a financial management system.
• **Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills**: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
• **Financial Modeling and Forecasting Experience**: Experience with financial modeling and forecasting.
• **GAAP Knowledge**: Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• **Brokerage Account Reading and Recording Competency**: Competency in reading and recording Brokerage accounts.
• **Complex Financial Data Analysis Ability**: Ability to work with complex financial data and perform data analysis.
• **Financial Statement Preparation and Analysis Knowledge**: Knowledge of financial statement preparation and analysis.
• **Regulatory Compliance and Financial Reporting Requirements Familiarity**: Familiarity with regulatory compliance and financial reporting requirements.
• **Client Meeting Package Preparation Ability**: Ability to prepare client meeting packages.
• **Excellent Communication Skills**: Excellent communication skills for presenting financial information to stakeholders.

**Education and Experience Requirements**

• **Four + Years of Accounting and Business Management Experience**: Four + years of accounting and business management experience.
• **BSc/BA in Business Management, Accounting, Finance, or Relevant Field**: BSc/BA in business management, accounting, finance, or relevant field; MSc/MA, CFP, and/or CPA is a plus.
• **Extensive CCH Systems Knowledge**: Extensive knowledge of CCH systems.
• **GAAP Understanding**: Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
• **Advanced Entity Income Taxation Knowledge**: Advanced knowledge of Entity Income Taxation.
• **Advanced Individual Income Taxation Knowledge**: Advanced knowledge of Individual Income Taxation.
• **Payroll Knowledge**: Payroll knowledge.
• **Entertainment Experience**: Entertainment experience is a plus.
