**About Consultative Search Group**

We are a leading business management firm seeking a highly skilled Senior Staff Accountant to join our dynamic team. Our company specializes in providing expert financial services to clients across various industries.

**Job Summary**

The Senior Staff Accountant will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, analyzing data, and providing insights to support decision-making within our Business Management department. The ideal candidate will collaborate directly with divisional leaders, lead client meetings, and have years of experience in Financial and Tax Accounting.

**Responsibilities**

  • **Financial Statement Preparation and Analysis**: Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
  • **Accounting Processes and Procedures**: Supervise and manage accounting processes and procedures, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  • **General Ledger Management**: Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • **Journal Entries and Compliance**: Review and approve journal entries, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
  • **Budget Preparation and Financial Forecasting**: Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting, providing insights to support decision-making.
  • **Tax Packages and Compliance**: Prepare tax packages, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and laws.
  • **Team Leadership and Support**: Provide guidance and support to junior staff, leading by example and promoting a culture of excellence.
  • **Client Meetings and Communication**: Lead client meetings, communicating effectively and providing clear financial insights.
  • **Financial Controls and Process Improvement**: Develop and implement financial controls, identifying areas for process improvements and implementing solutions.
  • **Financial Data Analysis and Reporting**: Analyze financial data, preparing reports for senior management and stakeholders.
  • **Collaboration and Communication**: Collaborate with other departments, ensuring financial accuracy and efficiency, and communicating effectively with government agencies.

**Qualifications**

  • **AgilLink Experience**: Experience with AgilLink, a leading financial management system.
  • **Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills**: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
  • **Financial Modeling and Forecasting**: Experience with financial modeling and forecasting, providing insights to support decision-making.
  • **GAAP Knowledge**: Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • **Brokerage Account Management**: Competency in reading and recording brokerage accounts.
  • **Complex Financial Data Analysis**: Ability to work with complex financial data and perform data analysis.
  • **Financial Statement Preparation and Analysis**: Knowledge of financial statement preparation and analysis.
  • **Regulatory Compliance and Financial Reporting**: Familiarity with regulatory compliance and financial reporting requirements.
  • **Client Meeting Packages**: Ability to prepare client meeting packages.
  • **Excellent Communication Skills**: Excellent communication skills for presenting financial information to stakeholders.

**Education and Experience Requirements**

  • **Four + Years of Accounting Experience**: Four + years of accounting and business management experience.
  • **BSc/BA in Business Management**: BSc/BA in business management, accounting, finance, or relevant field; MSc/MA, CFP, and/or CPA is a plus.
  • **Extensive Knowledge of CCH Systems**: Extensive knowledge of CCH systems.
  • **GAAP Knowledge**: Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
  • **Advanced Entity Income Taxation**: Advanced knowledge of Entity Income Taxation.
  • **Advanced Individual Income Taxation**: Advanced knowledge of Individual Income Taxation.
  • **Payroll Knowledge**: Payroll knowledge.
  • **Entertainment Experience**: Entertainment experience is a plus.
