Key Responsibilities
This role involves welcoming, guiding, and assisting patients and visitors in a professional and efficient manner throughout their experience.

Responsibilities include scheduling and registering patients, ensuring accurate data collection, determining service eligibility, and advising patients on payment policies while managing the monitoring and collection of outstanding balances.

The Healthcare Access Coordinator is also tasked with maintaining a positive waiting room environment, keeping patients informed about wait times, and ensuring a clean and comfortable space.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service to a diverse patient population.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic financial management skills, including cash handling and posting charges.
  • Proficiency in navigating various software applications, including EHR and Microsoft Office.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a receptionist role within a healthcare, dental, or social services environment.
  • Strong financial management or accounting skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Bilingual capabilities (English/Spanish) are advantageous.
