Customer Service Representative

CentroMed San Antonio is seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patients and families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Register and process patients and families requesting healthcare services
  • Coordinate encounter data entry to meet program and agency deadlines
  • Conduct and record patient financial reviews, billing, collections, and data summaries
  • Assist patients and visitors, answer telephones, and maintain a positive and welcoming environment
  • Demonstrate proficiency in establishing and updating accounts in the computer system
  • Reconcile charges, maintain error-free daily balance sheets, and demonstrate an excellent understanding of insurance and eligibility programs
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • General experience working in a healthcare setting, with experience in medical data entry preferred
  • Strong clerical skills, including keyboarding and basic math
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
