In collaboration with our strategic partner, Brown-Forman, we are looking to recruit full-time diverse Sales Leadership Development Interns. This internship offers a comprehensive 10-week experience, requiring 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

The Summer Sales Leadership Development Internship Program provides HBCU and PBI college students with an insightful introduction to the Beverage Alcohol Industry, emphasizing the Distribution segment of the business.

As an intern, you will enhance your leadership capabilities, confront real-world challenges, and work alongside industry leaders.

This opportunity includes networking with executives and key figures, engaging in experiential learning, and participating in social events with fellow interns and our leadership development professionals.

We seek the next generation of diverse problem solvers ready to influence change within the industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Gain practical experience through involvement in critical business projects, data analysis, and strategic development while collaborating with cross-functional teams in sales, marketing, finance, and more.
  • Lead the formulation and implementation of business analysis and sales strategy projects aimed at driving growth.
  • Work closely with commercial sales leadership to ensure effective communication and timely delivery of project outcomes.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and other departments to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
  • Undertake additional projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program at an HBCU or PBI, with an anticipated graduation date between December 2025 and June 2026.
  • The ideal candidate will exhibit natural curiosity, a desire to learn, and the ability to engage and influence a diverse range of colleagues and clients to achieve positive business results.
  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Communications, Analytics, or a related field.
  • Interested in a career in Sales Leadership or Field Marketing.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age at the time of the internship.
  • Maintain a minimum overall GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Possess strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyze complex issues and conduct root cause analysis.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship management capabilities.
  • Effective communication skills at all organizational levels.
