About the Role

Pirate Ventures/Corsair Creative is a leading venue and event management company dedicated to creating unforgettable experiences for our clients and their guests. We specialize in hosting high-volume events, from weddings and corporate gatherings to festivals and private parties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bartending Excellence: Create and serve a variety of beverages efficiently and consistently, adhering to all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Customer Service: Greet guests with a warm attitude, take orders, and provide excellent customer service throughout the event. Engage with patrons to ensure their needs are met and exceed their expectations.
  • Speed and Efficiency: Work swiftly and efficiently, especially during peak periods, to meet the high-volume demands of events. Maintain an organized work station for quick access to ingredients and supplies.
  • Mixology: Prepare and serve a wide range of cocktails, ensuring they are presented attractively and taste delicious.
  • Safety and Compliance: Comply with all local and state laws and regulations regarding the sale and service of alcohol. Ensure responsible service and refuse service to intoxicated or underage guests.
  • Cleanliness and Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness in the bar area, including keeping the bar top, glassware, and utensils spotless. Assist in cleaning and closing duties.
  • Team Collaboration: Work seamlessly with other event staff to ensure a smooth and enjoyable guest experience.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of bartending experience, preferably in high-volume event settings.
  • Knowledge of mixology and cocktail preparation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age to serve alcohol.
  • TIPS or equivalent responsible beverage service certification is a plus.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift/move heavy kegs or supplies.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
