About the JobWe are looking for an experienced Speech & Language Pathologist to join our team of healthcare professionals at Yale New Haven Health. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care and a passion for staying up-to-date with industry developments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose patients with speech and language disorders, including those related to stroke, brain injury, and neurological conditions.
- Design and implement evidence-based treatment plans to address patient needs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and research projects.
Essential Qualifications:
- Graduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure and ASHA certification required.
- Proven expertise in clinical rehabilitation and a commitment to lifelong learning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
