Position Overview:

The JD Edwards Business Systems Analyst position is a permanent role designed for an individual who will engage with diverse teams to collect business requirements and offer expertise in system configuration and testing across various JD Edwards E1 modules, including Purchasing, Sales Order Management, MPS/MRP, Inventory, and Transportation Management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engaging with critical departments to gather, document, and comprehend business goals and requirements, ensuring alignment with technological challenges and opportunities.
  • Identifying and executing opportunities for enhancing business processes, focusing on improved system functionality and data utilization.
  • Documenting and articulating business processes, requirements, and functional designs to ensure usability and data integrity.
  • Providing support to end-users, which includes testing, system maintenance, and resolving data quality issues.
  • Conducting analyses to assess project or application feasibility, prioritize requests, and tackle operational challenges.
  • Creating and delivering training materials to educate others on business or system expertise while continuously expanding knowledge through research and training.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a JD Edwards Business Analyst in a manufacturing or supply chain context.
  • Proficient in system configuration and testing.
  • Strong business acumen across various functions, particularly in JD Edwards E1 Purchasing, Sales Order Management, MPS/MRP, Inventory Management, and Transportation Management.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills across all organizational levels.
  • Must possess authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Process/Data Mapping.
  • Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools (such as Power BI) and Repetitive Process Automation tools (like Orchestrator) is advantageous.
