Job Summary

This is a full-time position with the Supreme Court of the United States in Washington, D.C. The Marshal's Aide performs a wide range of complex and highly technical administrative duties for the Marshal's Office of the Supreme Court.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of administrative tasks, including setting up and maintaining the Courtroom, performing as Courtroom attendant and usher, and assisting in preparation for official Court functions.
  • Frequently interact with high-level government officials and the public.
  • Assist in the preparation of official Court documents and materials.
  • Provide administrative support to the Marshal's Office staff.
Requirements
  • Prior background in dealing with the public, communications system training, mail handling, public speaking, and general administration is desirable.
  • Ability to deal courteously with the public is required.
  • A highly motivated individual with a college degree is required; a valid driver's license and a good driving record are required to drive Court vehicles.
