Job Summary

The Post-Harvest Technician plays a crucial role in the production of high-quality medical cannabis at Trulieve. This position is responsible for participating in all steps of the post-harvest process, from intake to trimming, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in drying, curing, and trimming of medical cannabis in a production-scale facility.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of testing results, reports, and logs.
  • Input data into the company database and ensure all product is accounted for according to company policy.
  • Conduct quality control assessments throughout the post-harvest process.
  • Maintain and operate equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and positive work environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the direct supervisor.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must pass a comprehensive background screening.
  • Strong knowledge of cannabis handling, including drying, curing, and trimming.
  • Ability to work hands-on with cannabis plant material daily.
  • Flexibility to work in various sectors of the production department as needed.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with other departments.
  • Self-motivated, innovative, and a team player.
  • Excellent time management skills to ensure goals are met and high-quality product is produced.
  • Compliance with all legal and company regulations.
  • Valid Driver's License or ability to obtain one.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50 lbs. to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance.
  • Ability to work seated/standing as appropriate at workstations for extended periods, maintain body equilibrium, and use hands/fingers to hold, grasp, turn, pick, pinch frequently/constantly.
  • Ability to handle organic matter daily, wear PPE as appropriate, and be exposed to hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions while wearing PPE.
  • Visual acuity with/without job aids to perform activities such as reading, viewing a computer terminal, and visual inspection involving small parts/details.
  • Ability to speak and communicate verbally at conversation levels with co-workers, vendors, etc.
