Global Network Architect

A rewarding opportunity has arisen for a seasoned network engineer to join our esteemed client, a pioneering IT solutions provider in the healthcare industry. As a key member of their team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex global networking solutions that meet the evolving needs of their clients.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years' experience in designing and implementing network architectures for enterprise-scale environments and data center solutions, including Nexus, UCS, and VMware. Strong knowledge of network protocols and technologies, such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VTP, MPLS, and VPNs, is also essential. Experience with network security, ASA, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and cloud networking technologies like AWS would be highly beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage enterprise-level routing and switching solutions
- Architect, troubleshoot, and implement scalable networks with fault tolerance, redundancy, and performance optimization
- Configure and optimize routing protocols, including BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP
- Experience with advanced switching technologies, VLANs, VTP, EtherChannel, and Spanning Tree Protocols/STP
- Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize firewall policies, including application-based rules, URL filtering, and threat prevention
- Troubleshoot complex network and security issues, identify root causes, and implement timely resolutions
- Consult with clients to operate and optimize network and network security
