Job Title: Senior Network Architect

Procter & Gamble is seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Architect to join our team. As a key member of our IT organization, you will be responsible for designing and implementing network infrastructure solutions that support our global enterprise network.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Architect repeatable, reliable, and scalable network solutions with fault tolerance, performance tuning, and monitoring systems.
  • Lead the creation of network infrastructure designs, configurations, standards, and documentation to deliver network solutions.
  • Manage the lifecycle of network technology solutions to ensure seamless transformation and adoption by the business.
  • Define and document technical requirements for new capabilities, working with key suppliers to solution, build, and lab certify.
  • Develop proposals and communicate outcomes that address business value and risk.
  • Partner with peer IT organizations to influence, guide, and direct technical outcomes.
  • Serve as the SME for critical and/or chronic incidents, providing subject matter leadership to Operations.
  • Engage in the definition and generation of new tools and automation capabilities to improve outcomes and minimize risk.
  • Deliver training and technical leadership to key partner organizations to ensure successful knowledge transfer.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or other technical/IT field.
  • 9+ years of experience designing and implementing networks, working across a wide range of telecommunication technologies.
  • Expertise in architecting solutions for wireless, routing & switching, SDWAN, and LAN.
  • Knowledge of networking infrastructure suppliers and services, including Cisco, Viptela, F5 Networks, HP, Zscaler, and Palo Alto.
  • Proficiency in network features and protocols, including 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, 802.1x PEAP/EAP-TLS, RADIUS/CoA, Wireless RF, spanning tree, TCP/IP/V4/V6, SIP, ARP, CDP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, VTP, Etherchannel, 802.1Q trunking, MLS, HSRP, GLBP, VSS/VSL, QoS, Multicast, IPSEC, RADIUS/TACACS+, SNMP, NTP, and HTTP.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certifications in CCDA, CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, SUSE, JNCIE, JNCIA, JNCP, and ACE.
  • Experience with Cisco ACS/ISE, Ansible, CA Spectrum/eHealth, EMC Smarts, Cisco Prime, Solarwinds, InfoBlox, ServiceNow, Wireshark, and Splunk.
  • Expertise in Cisco IOS/NXOS, Linux, Unix, code writing, and Microsoft OS.
  • Familiarity with IT governance standards and compliance.
  • Experience in standard load balancer design, SSL termination, and overall application/solution design (L4-7).

Compensation for this role at Procter & Gamble varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to the specific office location, role, degree/credentials, relevant skills, and level of experience. Total rewards include salary + bonus (if applicable) + benefits.
