Enterprise Architect Role

The Enterprise Architect will support the US Air Force and work with the Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) and US Air Force Business Enterprise Systems experience. Responsibilities include analyzing complex local and wide area network systems, customer topology, ports and protocols to recreate a logical diagram, with thorough understanding of system interfaces and data exchanges. Familiarity with data architecture, data dictionaries, and data constructs is required. Experience with business analysis, system and software requirements, DoD cybersecurity policy and strategy, flowcharting, and software development artifacts is also necessary. The Enterprise Architect will lead workshops with customers and co-workers, participate in peer reviews, and adhere to strict architecture standards and styles. Prior military experience is a plus and a diverse familiarity with supply, logistics, aircraft, maintenance, and personnel/human resources is beneficial.

About the Contract
Bowhead provides Enterprise and System Architecture Support to the US Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at Gunter Annex in Montgomery, Alabama. Possible work sites are Wright-Patterson AFB, Gunter Annex, and Robins AFB. The AFLCMC/GBE Enterprise Architecture Services Group encompasses the following disciplines within architecture: application or solution architecture, data architecture, and architecture maintenance.

Qualifications
A BA/BS degree in Computer Sciences, IT or business is required, with experience substituting degree requirements. A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience is required, including business analyses and software development. Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Visio are necessary. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts is required. Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team are also necessary.

Physical Demands
The Enterprise Architect must be able to lift up to 25 pounds, stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time, twist, bend and squat periodically.

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS
The Enterprise Architect must be able to obtain a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
